I Sort of Miss London

Tuesday September 15, 2009

leverton

It may seem silly since I am sitting in my London apartment but there has been frequent commuting to Northampton since last Monday. Perhaps tomorrow I will take another route to work so I can visit my favourite row of pastel-coloured houses.

Replies

lottie: Kentish Town. They’re extremely nice and friendly people there.

Ofelia and Dianne: It’s the Diana’s first outing. I was using Colette x Diana; gave me first camera to my sister.

Carole: I completely agree. Perhaps not taken as seriously?

read me…: I have to get to Lantana early one day. Still want to try the breakfast at The Providores too…

miffyroar: It’s actually less green on the polaroid but not sure what happened after the scan. Suits the picture well though.

Martin: Not sure, I haven’t peeled any apart to see. Is that the bit to eat?

rhiannon: Thank you for letting me know. I think I sorted it out now but if you still get spam messages, please let me know.

Ell: This one!

Shuurei: There are quite a lot of fallen leaves now but the mood is still quite green in general. Perhaps you’ll be here just in time for autumnal colours.

graziella: I saw Schwartzman not so long ago. He was eating outside a place in Marylebone. The hummingbird cake is lovely but I still prefer the carrot cake at Rose Bakery if comparing cakes of that ilk. London is quite cold now. It’s been raining for hours tonight. How about you and your side?

I’m so very jealous that you live in London. Those pastel houses sound so sweet!

I know what it’s like to miss your hometown, except that I have two, and I live in neither of them (San Diego, CA, and Victoria, British Columbia). I wish I could see their skylines more often.
