Carole: Oh no, I wouldn’t want to see the skeleton evolution of a foetus, even if they are reproductions. The thought alone is scary. Did you see Jesus Camp? I haven’t worn a watch for years but just started again since I take too long to fish my phone out from my bag.

Zainab: Oh that’s such a nice thing to know!

viv: That’s an interesting list to make – why did you start? Unusually some of the animals aren’t in glass cases, I guess because the place isn’t extremely busy.

Chiara: A different hamster to the one from before, Chouchou has passed away.

clara: I have to try this Amoy Food Centre place next time.

[z:six], Yen, Ell, kim and Renee: Not as scary as Bodyworlds! Saw a preview in Vivocity. I think it’s too much for me.

Tricia: I don’t remember having them. Wish I got some this year…

Lish: I saw the museum recommended in a guide and thought I’ll visit. It’s small but interesting.

pea: Back in London for a day now. Still trying to adjust to shorter days and lack of sunlight. An unusually mild October week this is…

Otterman: Ah, thanks for the correction.

ally: I don’t think people will notice if you don’t mention!

yuko: Will you have time to meet?

blakebaby77: I managed to try Tampopo’s cream puff and Glace’s rin rin cheese tart in June. No luck with sesame cake yet at Cedele though I check their counters whenever I pass. I really wanted to return to Glace this time but ran out of time!

Sophie (via contact form): Sorry I can’t remember what the name is and I didn’t keep the box. Can’t seem to find it on their website either. I call it the “pig” shoe but that’s not going to be of any help to you…

Wow what a great photo post!

Where do I begin? I saw the Toastbox pics and I thought about Toast. Have you tried? Next time you come u try, okie? ;) That and Amoy Food Ctr’s Thio Heng rice & food stall. Heh! I lurrrve the Marmalade Pantry too but it’s always so hard to get a table!!

Did you like the Night Safari? I dunno if I was suffering from night vision or something – everything looked really blur to me! I did enjoy the animal show – that was the highlight for me!

Well, hope you had a good break! The weather’s really humid these days.

Looking forward to your blog posts from London! ;P

Loved this set of Singapore… good too see the posh side of the city. What are those little containers filled with, in that picture right after the tea sets?

And that beautiful tart/pot pie at the very top. Do make us salivate by telling us what was inside!

  4. Isabela says:

Sorry if I’m being repetitive, but I never read your answers, nor the comments here. I’m interested in the photographs, specificaly.

I’ve been following your blog for 6 months or so. I’m really interested in you view for Singapure. The place seems so nice, so good for turism!
I like the bonsais, the food (seems so delicious !), and that painting over the wall!

I like your pics very much, please keep showing your view of things!

  5. ai says:

  6. Bardotty says:

    Wow :):):)

Truly wonderful, you always make me want to take more pics with my Lumix!
Btw, Mustard/ Honey Kettles chips?!?!?!? Have we got those here in London?!??!?!
    Welcome back Bx

  7. Anne says:

Thanks for the reply! I don’t live in London anymore, but I’m in London right now for a week so I’ll try to find some cheap film after I buy an LC-A from the new LSI store. Where did you get your photos developed?

  8. July says:

Incredible pics as usual. I love traveling with you!
I wish they did night visits at London zoo, it would be so much fun.
Hope being back in London is not too much of a shock to the system…

  9. Carole says:

This definitively makes me want to go to Singapore. I’m not sure about all the food though. Is 3 course breakfast the usual? It seems to me I would be obese ;)
I love photographing aquariums too. I wasn’t aware of that before my son dragged us to many of them. The jellyfish are so beautiful, you can almost make some abstract photos out of them.
No, I didn’t see Jesus Camp. I think I saw a bit of it on HBO once and wanted to see the whole movie but somehow missed it. Thanks for reminding me.

  10. Jia says:

Looks like you had a wonderful trip back to S’pore. Is that a Prima Deli chicken pie I spy in your first photo? Also, Milo Dinosaur! Your pics are making me salivate… :)

  11. Yen says:

no wonder u were “missing” on the last few days!
your picture makes me want to have a rice dumpling now! i think i haven’t had that this year.
    Niko is really adorable.

  12. oh my, I would probably get freaked out by the flying squirrels given I steer clear of the regular ones in Europe.

I love the fuchsia seats, where are they from?

  13. wl says:

    Those pencils ! I heart !
