Day To Day #1

Today’s activity Sewing under the sun.
Someone once told me that there are only two kinds of people in this world: dog people or cat people. Never mind if this little nugget of wisdom holds true or not. If I had to choose between the two, it’ll have to be cat. Because cats don’t exercise and we share a favourite activity – chasing the sun.

Today’s weather Bone-chillingly cold.
It was so cold I felt sick and had to speed-walk across Covent Garden which made me even more sick. No fun.

Today’s soundbite “Cheer up!”
Apparently, the daily morning walk to the tube station made me so miserable that a stranger felt compelled to call out to me. Why, thank you.

Today’s food Fish and chips at Browns for dinner.
This place is so yuppie. I can’t say I enjoyed it very much.

Today’s song Jimmy Scott singing Unchained Melody.
Gives me goosebumps everytime. Seek it out on his Live In Japan album (TKCB-72431) released in 2002 by Tokuma Japan Communications.

tsilli: Waiting for your photos. I’m considering buying a scanner too as I’m using the office one at the moment.

jk: Isn’t it? I’m happy just looking at it. And puzzled why things were made better in the old days.

Vicki: I like Aya bored too. I remember LX-1 now, my friend got the Leica equivalent!

simon: I’m not sure how they’ll age but I’ve put them all in a box away from light.
