clara: No kaya but the method works well with all types of jam.

Kiki: Thanks, see you on Friday!

Jamie, Fabio, ai and tifanie: The pan is from Kiosk in New York. It’s from Portugal though I can’t see it on their site. Email them! The pan makes very crispy toast!

Sneakymagpie, Karen, read me…, Bardotty and graziella: Please try this and let me know if you like it.

Carole: More preserved animals here. I really like the jellyfish.

simon: Thanks for the offer, I think I should be in Singapore soon again.

Ell: The method of having butter unspread is a way toast is served in traditional coffee-shops in Singapore. I’m not sure how it developed but I can imagine it works well as we rather like contrasting taste and texture sensations: hot and cold, crisp and soft…

Maeko: The Diana lens for Canon is a good idea as the Diana camera is not the easiest to control exposure.

vonn: Almost like melba toast except that melba toast gets a second toasting after being split so they are almost cracker-like!

WOW – You really know how to spend a weekend!!
I had no idea there was a marmite shop on regent, but had heard a long time ago about the pizza place in Brixton (but once again never been) –
then carrot cake on a park bench – it’s how I USED to spend time in London before it exhausted me and I stuck to one thing a weekend hehehe. How do you find the energy – even if just to travel…
shame about the toaster link – I couldn’t see it either but it looks cool..if ever you’re having that clearout you’re talking about..: )
