On my desktop, I keep a folder called “goodsense” where I collect pictures in the categories of “spaceobjectfood” and “styleobjectpeople”. Perhaps I’m too lazy to think but it’s hard to define in words what makes “good sense”. It’s a very instinctive reaction.
So when I picked up this envelope, it immediately said “good sense” to me.

miss a. (via contact form): I reply to every comment so you can post here next time. The rabbit tray is from Couverture in Notting Hill.
SiewHoon: Hello again! I don’t have a favourite season but I have favourite days. Usually sunshine, crisp air, not too hot, not too cold…
wl: Guess! That’s why I took the picture.
hiki: The Ochibi-san stories are interesting because they feel modern yet traditional. I really like them.
paula: Thank you, I have no idea they were called “siurells” until you told me. I’ve not been to Mallorca, or Spain (nearest I’ve been to is Madeira, Portugal). The siurells were presents. I really like it when people travel and they bring things that I’ve never seen or heard of before.
simon: Yes, yes, they are classic. Gets better with wear.
if jane: Marmite is definitely not sweet but I don’t know if I can call it salty. It’s a “savoury” taste.
Sneakymagpie: I went to Rosie’s Cafe after Franco Manca but didn’t have cakes. Had soup and Alison had a pie. There were 2 of those bunnies in Alexandra Palace.
cocopuff1212: Love it or hate it? I am rather indifferent towards Marmite.
Ell: Somehow winter time always make me want to wear ribbons in my hair. Not sure why. Maybe to balance out heavy clothing I’m wearing on the body.
yuko: I love that plate! It’s tiny but perfect for one waffle.
Jamie: The Marmite shop is a pop-up so won’t be there for long. Pizza in Brixton was good but my favourite is still Malletti in Soho and Clerkenwell. Sorry I have been slow in mails – and yes, I’ve been to Story Deli. So good. I love how the place feels loved by its owner. The toaster I just brought back from New York. I’ll be hanging on to it! There is another style of toaster on Kiosk’s site. More grid-like. May be nice too. As for energy, the activities were spread out over quite a few days!
Chiara: Oh yes, I made it once in the office. Next time I’ll bring kaya back.
A note on: a polaroid a day, chinese, home, lifestyle, polaroid sx-70

aiya. the little porcelain deer ? the enamel dish in front of the deer ? anything… as long as it’s not the hoof coat hanger thing.

How intriguing! Where did you pick this up?
