Waiting.

Alison, late!

Waiting again.

Climpson and Sons coffee.

At Broadway Market…

…for Violet cakes and…

Coco&me’s too.

Beautiful markings.

Beautiful smile.

In Stella Blunt.

It’s been a while since I last saw a rainbow. Alison stuck my camera out of the car window for this.

Lunch at Pearl Liang.

Later in Notting Hill.

simon: Sorry but I think I might keep it. Useful for travelling when I have to take my laptop.
Ell: I skipped a lot of the shows too. No patience to go through them all…
Bardotty: Yes, eagerly waiting!
parisa, Sneaky Magpie, PRIMOEZA and Marion: Any collections you think I should have a look? I was too lazy to go through them all so went for my usual favourites…
Tamami: I skipped dinner and had your cakes instead! The lamp is from Amsterdam I think but there are many shops in London selling it. I just saw the same rabbit in Oliver Bonas window in Notting Hill. And there’s this lighting shop in Soho near Beak Street, many styles in there.
editor: I’ll have to stop by ABC next time, never been, thank you! I passed by but didn’t stop in Takashimaya. Do you know the maker of those jackets you saw? What other magazines did you get?
A note on: a day in the life of, animal, dog, food, friend, lifestyle, london, market, me, panasonic lumix dmc-g1

Awww… love the lovely furry animals in ur pictures:)
your pictures are just so stunning.
may i ask who makes your shoes in the 3rd photo?
thanks!
Great pictures as usual (especially the dog and the book store).
the violet cakes look very enticing, though the topping looks intimidatingly sweet. what is it? i had a rather excellent ginger cake yesterday at the bust craftacular…
a. Violet! I love her stuff, didn’t know she started a blog, thank u.
b. I love the photo of you in the mirror; the combination of your beautiful coat, with the chandellier & mirror really works.
c. Are those venison puffs at Pearl Liang? Just posted some on my blog too, sooo yummy.
Love Violet cupcakes… and of course their salted caramel is my favourite. Last tim I was at Broadway Market, I queued for a Climpson coffee behind that great big dog!!
hey lovely pics make me miss london. wonder if you could recommend somewhere where I could get a margot tennenbaum style fake fur coat? I don’t trust ebay or vintage so much as it must be fake fur. thank you.
Wow!! Thank you for taking beautiful pictures!! I’m always soooo impressed with how brilliant you are with your camera! Hope to see you more often at the Market!? (And thanx for the shop tip for the rabbit lamp – I’m currently mad on collecting animal-things… I’m aiming to cover the piano & the mantelpiece with ‘em) xx
i bought SO-EN, Liniere vol. 7 and Pop-Eye, plus the High Fashion.
the next time i’m in takashimaya i will look at the jackets again (maybe next weekend).
and definitely you must explore abc – their site is not good but just for reference: http://www.abchome.com
those cakes look amazing and i’m not even a sweets person. i’ve recently discovered marshmallow fluff so it might be the beginning of an obsession.
How do you carry your camera with you all the time? In your bag? Or a camera bag?
I want to carry my camera everywhere, but I find it very heavy and uncomfortable.. ;)
i love your photos !! the cakes are very cute.
