Home baking.

For me.

This year’s Christmas granola has mulberries instead of cranberries. They look like mini pine cones.

Chisou’s seaweed salad, in order of preference: white, pink, dark green, light green.

Four stickies and one crumble, Sunday lunch at Junction Tavern.

Club sandwiches at Cafe de Hong Kong.

Inside Noodles, a pop-up restaurant from Rosa’s.

My new chow chow, Stewart.

Why does it feel like my ushanka has grown bigger?

Bardotty: I find that too, being near water… it helps with forming ideas. Do you mean that you have 12 or more weekend getaways planned for next year? I’m impressed!
Juliette Le: Nice to know! I always like it when people say how the blog relates to their lives. What is a typical breakfast to have in Buenos Aires?
Maeko: I need to do that too, my RSS subscriptions are out of control.
Ell: I really like the sound of apricot tart with a hint of lavender. Why did you choose Amsterdam? Also amused you have your husband planned.
tifanie: Thank you!
http://kitsune-tofu.blogspot.com/ and Mariana: Glad you enjoyed the pictures. Perhaps there’ll be another London day out this weekend.
Mausumi: I keep my cameras in pouches and carry them in my bag. My daily camera is not so heavy, not too bad.
Thom: Any plans for another European tour?

What did you think of the Garbstore? I keep hearing about it but have yet to make it to their West London store… Love the fluorescent coloured Caran d’Ache!
Funny that you went to Chisou: I was a tiny bit disappointed the last time I went there (a couple of weeks ago). I thought the quality had gone down slightly.
my friend just told me today that toraya is having a special “tora” sweets collection for the new year, of course 2010 is the year of tora (tiger)! i must go check in the store soon!
I love how you pay attention and appreciate the little details in things, I really appreciate that in people and it shows in your photos. Bx
Weekends away: I wish but it will be every other weekend, that means about six!
Junction Tavern: I lived literally around the corner & it was my regular, great food.
Ps. And how you are so very polite and always make sure you reply to messages to you. Lots of brownie points kind lady!
I love the randomness of these shots. Sometimes it is the seemingly insignificant things that are the most interesting.
