外苑前 Gaienmae – 青山 Aoyama – 新宿 Shinjuku – 渋谷 Shibuya – 恵比寿 Ebisu

The only restaurant that is opened in our neighborhood.

Soba for the new year.

Chiffon towers in Isetan Shinjuku.

My favourite is a stall selling unpolished rice from various farms in Japan. You can choose the degree you like the rice to be polished to.

In Takashimaya Times Square…

…where I met Eri from Little More…

…who gave me a copy of their magazine, Mayonaka.

Savoury Danish snacks in Shibuya station.

Ryota in Smokers’ Style.

Shabu-shabu with the Toriigahara family.

Hey, beautiful blog you have here. I love the theme and the header. I think they’re really sweet.
And also the pictures that you’ve taken. Wonderful! I love how you capture the dawning sky, the color saturation is just marvelous. Must be even more beautiful to be there and see it directly.
The shabu-shabu and soba look delicious. I am salivating right now :p Japanese food is my favorite!
Hmm….does polishing rice grains affect the taste? What’s the benefits of polished or unpolished?
Absolutely wonderful photos, as always….thank you for sharing them with us! You’re lucky to travel so often :)
the soba and the chalk-stripe checked shoulder, equally yum.
the little ham at the end, super yum.
Toshikoshi soba is probably my most favourite tradition. (Soba would be my last meal) Feel I need the sutamina udon to get me to work today…
i especially love the 3rd photo down… really nice.
