My favourite kind of candles smell like food.

I am currently in a Chinese Litchi world from Carrière Frères Industrie. Happiness!

Their packaging is my favourite too, with its hint of French tricolore on the box and botanical drawings on the glass.

I actually had Melon to try too but between bad London weather and flimsy Space.NK shopping bag, the candle smashed to pieces on the streets of Soho. So that, Tea Plant, Orange Blossom, Tomato and Sugarcane will be next on my list. Make a Black Sesame please and I will be complete.

greentea: 我通常也不爱吃有动物样子的食物,可是朋友送的礼物,所以这次就破例喔。
joisle, celine and ysianz: They’re not difficult to tear out as there are only three or four tabs securing the shape to the frame but I can’t imagine doing it in the morning if I was preparing bento lunches.
Graham Hutson, Annette and Carole: Suggested uses include topping bento (lunchbox meals), onigiri (rice balls) and toast. Proven effective with picky eaters (tested in my home).
Lili and petoskystone: My favourites are the rabbit, panda, octopus and dolphin. 4 out of 6!
Alison: That is such an Alison thing to do, don’t you think so?
Sarah: Did you check the site? Sanrio, Miffy.. it has opened up a whole new seaweed world…
Mette: Thanks, I’ll add Sevenoaks to my list. Making a point to get out of London more often!
katie: I haven’t tried looking in London yet but Japan Centre supermarket would be my first port of call.
ramen girl: Good luck!
jia: Not my usual sort of thing either but a good, fun present.

such lovely packaging! but i will take your word on the scent–a mild case of multiple chemical sensitivites means such scented objects interferes w/breathing!
