There are 12 “worst day of the year” in a year.

A bag from Few & Far.

The charming lift in Apsley House.

Croissant and latte from Monmouth in hand, outside Miller Harris… and then, Jack Bauer. It’s the first time I’ve seen middle-aged men behaving like a gang of excited teenage girls.

Sue Anne: I have no idea… I looked down to turn the focus knob and realised part of the lens was gone. Then saw it on the grass… The Diana is not expensive at all. It feels like a piece of plastic and that’s what it is essentially.

ClaraAnne: The giraffe was rescued off the streets and lives in Alison’s courtyard. I didn’t realise until a while later that it was just a head and neck. I think I will wear my hair in a braid for a while. It’s grown too long to make a decent knot.

oh wow! i have the same calender as you back at home – just that i don’t think there are any english words on there telling me that it’s the worst day of the year. Hahaha.

The day seems pretty nice just that the counter display at Hermès made my eyes go : O.O

    :)

Hi Tommy! Oh, I wish I had a calendar like that! I think I would like to know beforehand if a day will be good or not. And I love that shoe repair tag. About the Kork-Ease sandals: mine were vintage deadstock, so I didn’t have a choice in the colour (but they were so inexpensive! $35!). Sometimes I think I would like to have them in a buff or brown colour. I have so much black in my wardrobe! I guess I do like it. And you can’t really go wrong with black. I’ve grown to love those platforms! I love how they roll a bit as you walk.

By the way, I’m so glad that your full posts show up in my RSS feed these days. Sometimes I would be scrolling through looking at blog posts and I would miss yours. Your posts always, always make me smile.

Great photos, shoes worth wearing are definitely worth repairing.
    Love the blog :)

Wow. That calendar has so much info on it! I hope you had a good day!

Couldn’t agree more that shoes worth wearing are worth repairing! Any advice on a good (ideally north east London) shoe repair?

Does your calendar also say whether the day is good in the morning, bad in the afternoon etc?? I was always puzzled by these in my diary…

Oh, coffee, so good. I suppose you can have too much, but I haven’t reached that point yet. Although making coffee for one in an 8-cup cafetiere is a risky business…

  9. Tofu says:

if that was your worst day of the year, you are lucky
