ramen girl: Actually the sewing machine hasn’t been restored. The previous owner hardly used it, that’s why it’s so new. Tony sold it to me complete with dust and all, for authenticity, he says. Since the 222K is quite a desirable collectable, I think I paid a fair price.

Sabrina (via contact form): I think most recommendations on Lo-Fi Singapore are affordable. As for good halal food, I’m not so familiar. Try Haig Road, Geylang Serai, North Bridge Road… I imagine where you see a mosque, there should be good halal food around?
