Thank you for the lovely thoughts. Before I decided to start THE BEAUTIFUL AND THE GOOD, I also thought about going back to school but it’s probably more interesting (for someone my age) to learn at my own pace and pick topics that I’m interested in, no? By the way, the clue for the next project is in this set of photos.

Jessie: Yes, I made them. Very fun but they each take an hour to make (!).

may: Coming soon in My Favourite Things!

Sue Anne: Could you let me know what system and screen resolution you’re on? I’ll try to sort things out. You might be horrified but I never carry a camera bag. I wrap the equipment in a piece of cloth then into a basket it goes!

PenName: Yes I do take orders outside of the UK. Shipping is £2 on top of the price you see because I balance the 17.5% VAT against it. Check back on Sunday for the update.

Dale: I love that you noticed all the tiny details that took so much time to finish. Selling in Arts & Science will be a dream…!

ramen girl: Actually the sewing machine hasn’t been restored. The previous owner hardly used it, that’s why it’s so new. Tony sold it to me complete with dust and all, for authenticity, he says. Since the 222K is quite a desirable collectable, I think I paid a fair price.

Q: Thank you!

alice: It must be tiring to use a hand-cranking machine, no? You’re right about not going for the easy option… Today I was thinking, why did I just start a project to make my life as difficult as possible? But I’m happy.

Sabrina (via contact form): I think most recommendations on Lo-Fi Singapore are affordable. As for good halal food, I’m not so familiar. Try Haig Road, Geylang Serai, North Bridge Road… I imagine where you see a mosque, there should be good halal food around?
