Lavenham Raydon jacket from Decentages; Guttoraku (?) floral jacket
My happiest purchase is a Lavenham jacket in my favourite Liberty floral, Edenham. Although it would seem slightly ridiculous that I have to buy something made by two English companies in Tokyo, the jacket simply does not exist in London. The other floral padded jacket is from a granny undergarment shop in Bakurocho. At ¥735 (approximately £5), this is the cheapest piece of outerwear I will probably ever buy.

bollettieri: I think Dieter Rams was personally at the Design Museum during the exhibition opening for a meet-and-greet but I missed it. I’m looking forward to London in May like you, cherry blossoms hopefully. If it’s convenient for you, let’s meet up again!

Alisa: Ah, thank you. I’m sure if you know me better, you’ll realise that I’m just as flawed as everyone else.
Benji: It’s very well put-together and I like that visitors are free to take pictures. Because the exhibits are generally mass-produced products and not one-off art pieces, we can get really close to them. I saw some of Undercover SS10 menswear in a shoot and the Dieter Rams influence is apparent. Some of the current womenswear pieces in the Tokyo store has the flavour too. I see a lot of Rams in Apple too.
