…Whitecross Street after seeing the zebra finches at the the Barbican. I wished I could take pictures. Three landed on my head and shoulders promptly as I entered the space. A boy informed me that they are after my hair to build nests with. Another bird eyed up and tugged on the tassels and strings of my shoes.

…Ouessant border top from Saint James, quilted coat from Jessica Ogden, ribbon tie trousers from Nadinoo.

…silver conches from Goro’s.

…crochet table runner as scarf from Yue Hwa.

…woven bag from East Teas at Borough Market but also at Nom at Columbia Flower Market.

…FBT Shaman-Folk from Visvim.

simon (via contact form): Squirrel lover, that would be me. Thank you!
marie: I love visiting Margaret Howell’s Wigmore Street store. Even just to have a poke around sometimes. Beautiful space…
tomoko: I didn’t realise the MHL shirt is made by Saint James. I like the glass buttons. I might have to get it now, thank you!
tomoko, busma, skirmishofwit and Carole: The thong was from the store in Japan and is meant as a cord to hang pendants from. It’s a few years old now but I think it’s a standard item so may still be in the stores.
Corinna: It’s a sad day when I don’t have my camera with me. I definitely encourage you to carry yours around too.
Jo: I’ll try. Once a month seems like a pace I can deal with. Hopefully it will be enough for you!
camille: My watch is an old Rolex Air King, maybe older than I am. I wear it on a leather strap because one of the links on the original chain is damaged and makes a rash on my wrist. I really wish to find a replacement though. I wonder which of the archives do you enjoy the most?
joisle: I am extremely attracted by the idea but probably will be repelled if I had to go on one. But good use of waste materials, degradable too!
Adele joanna: Yes I do, the link is in the column on the right.
bollettieri: You enjoyed Tokyo! Is London still your favourite city?
