Some people really like the hat, some people don’t. I love that about it.
这是一顶令人爱恨分明的帽子。我就是喜欢它这一点。

Connie (via contact form): Thanks for the mail. I will keep checking your site.

Kim (via contact form): It’s an awkward answer, I’ve not used it very much since I got back. I will let you know in 1 – 2 months’ time.

Aida (via contact form): I hope you have friends and family around you to offer you support at this time. I don’t know how I can be of any help.

Carole: It seems to be over for us, the cold. But it’s always hard to tell with London.

I did think for a minute, what have I done picking up an ill ferret when I resolved not to have a pet? But it has to be done and I’ll probably do the same again. Good news from the hospital today, Ferry is showing signs of recovery from her pelvic trauma and does not have the dreaded insulinoma (a form of cancer). I was very insecure with having her at the hospital as they suggested “putting down” as the first solution. But now it seems the mood is much more positive. I don’t think I’d keep her though as I don’t agree with ferrets as city pets. As much as they look cute and cuddly, ferrets are tricky to take care of. They need to be fed whole prey (chicks, mice…) or raw meat (organs, bones, meat, fats) otherwise they’ll get ill easily. I will try to find her a good home but it will be hard when it’s time to give her away, of course. I’m not sure if I’m going to find her original owner, if she had one, I worry that she might have been abused or neglected.

Graziella: It’s Minnetonka, I bought it from Portland Outdoor Store.

Jasmine: I might have to get a slice of nettle quiche again this week, if the menu hasn’t changed.

Elle: I was quite curious about what’s behind the window, now I know it might still be someone’s office. Thank you!
